This weekend, DAV Chapter 92 had the honor of participating in the 2nd Annual BBQ for Heroes, hosted by the Rotary Club of Apple Valley at the Apple Valley Fire Protection District Headquarters. It was a powerful gathering of community leaders, volunteers, first responders, and grateful citizens — all coming together under one sky to celebrate those who serve.
Special thanks to the Rotary Club of Apple Valley for inviting us to stand alongside you. Your leadership and compassion breathe life into events like these, reminding us all that the spirit of service thrives when we come together in unity and gratitude.
We were especially honored to join this event in memory of Deputy Hector Cuevas, Jr., a true guardian of our community who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
